Who We Are
The Garage Gators is a free, community-driven Gracie Garage training group based in Gainesville, Florida, operating under a Gracie Garage agreement with Gracie University. This website is operated by the Garage Leader as a free service to support training session management and community coordination. It is not a commercial service.
What We Collect
When you create an account using Google Sign-In, we receive your name and email address from Google. We also collect any information you voluntarily provide during registration, including your phone number, address, emergency contact information, and minor participant details where applicable. We collect attendance records associated with your account when you register for or check in to training sessions.
How We Use It
Information collected on this site is used solely in connection with Garage Gators activities for the purposes of training, tracking progress, and communicating class schedules and changes. This includes confirming document compliance prior to participation, managing session registration and attendance, and fulfilling our obligation to submit participant information to Gracie University on a quarterly basis as required under our Gracie Garage operating agreement. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your information to any third party except as required by that obligation or by law.
Minors
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has registered without parental consent, contact us at coach@thegaragegators.com immediately and we will delete the account.
For participants between the ages of 13 and 17, a parent or legal guardian must complete the required waiver documentation on their behalf prior to participation.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing coach@thegaragegators.com. Upon a verified deletion request, your account and personal information will be removed from the site. Note that records already submitted to Gracie University as part of quarterly reporting cannot be recalled or deleted from their records.Security

Third-Party Services
This site uses Google OAuth for authentication. Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which are independent of this policy.
